Janna started working for 1st American Management Company in July of 2013 as the receptionist. She moved into the Accounting Department a few months later and has continued to be an AP/AR Specialist collecting receipts and paying bills for the properties that 1st American manages. Janna has a Bachelors’ Degree from Indiana University and began her professional career at Lakeside VA Hospital in downtown Chicago where she worked for 5 years. After those 5 years, she returned to her hometown of Chesterton to raise her 3 sons. Janna enjoyed many years as a tireless volunteer for The Fieldstation, The Duneland Family YMCA, and Bailly Elementary School before returning to the workforce at 1st American Management Company.
Lisa Tobey
Lisa began working at 1st American in March 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. Growth in the company has given Lisa many roles such as Accounting Clerk, Closing Coordinator, Commercial Property Manager, and now has been an AP/AR Specialist since 2018. Besides spending time with her family in her personal time, she also enjoys refinishing furniture, building new pieces, and interior design. Lisa is always looking to grow personally and professionally with a motto of “always be kind”.
