As information about the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to emerge, we are
diligently monitoring the situation and taking all preventive measures to reduce the risk to
our clients, vendors and employees, while also continuing to provide services for our clients.

Our team members are strictly following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and taking precautions including:

• Staying home if they are ill or if they have come into contact with someone who
  has been diagnosed with COVID-19
• Washing their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Avoiding touching their eyes, nose and mouth
• Refraining from handshakes
• Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular
  household cleaning spray or wipe
• Avoiding large groups and increasing physical distance from each other

We are still available by phone and email, and happily continue to serve our communities, owners and residents to the best of our ability. Thank you for your support and understanding.

1st American Management Company had its annual Christmas party at The Abbey at the Aberdeen Inn on December 12th. It was a wonderful celebration of our year, and the food and fellowship were great. Several key staff members received recognition at the annual event.

Samantha Royal was awarded the Associate of the Year, Peter Bylen was chosen as this year’s Office Angel, and the Accounting Department was given the 2019 Office Decorating Award. In addition, John Marshall, President, announced that effective immediately the following internal promotions were made:

Michael Bottos, Vice President of 1st American Management, has been accepted into the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Fast Track program toward attaining his Certified Property Manager, CPM, designation.  Over the next 18 months Michael will be working and learning along with other industry professionals across the country to attain this elite designation in the property management field.  All of us at 1st American are very proud of him and his leadership in our firm.  Pictured below are Michael, center, along with 1st American owner John Marshall CPM and IREM Chapter 100 President Jamie Ruiz CPM.
